The CW has already announced earlier this week how many more installments they plan to produce for each of their best selling shows, for the remainder of the television season. Moreover, today, they announced when the first post-strike episodes will begin to air. Fans of Supernatural, One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl would be glad to know that because the strike is nearly over, the wait for new episodes won't be too long.



The last pre-strike episode of Supernatural will hit our TV screens next week, and the show will continue airing four more season 3 episodes starting Thursday, April 24. So more or less, fans will be waiting 2 months between new installments.



More good news for Supernatural fans as the April 24 installment is the only new episode which will go up against Lost, which will be moved to 10pm for the rest of its season beginning May 1, Thursday. Supernatural will then be going up against Grey's Anatomy, which won't be a threat as the two have different genres and different audiences.



One Tree Hill is set to come back on Monday, April 14 with six brand-new episodes aside from the 12 that has already been produced. The last pre-strike installment would be airing around March 18, and thus may leave viewers waiting for a month. As for the schedule, there's no official word yet on if it will stay in the Monday slot permanently.



Another viewer favorite, Gossip Girl, which has no new episodes to air anymore, will return a week after One Tree Hill does, on Monday, April 21. There will be five more episodes produced, just as Reaper, which returns the following night, on Tuesdays.



Lastly, Smallville will return to television screens on Thursday, April 17, with the first five new installments, with the last pre-strike episode airing on March 27. Fans keep it on CW to catch their favorite shows back on air these coming months.
