The third season of the hit science fiction drama series Heroes will soon be launched.

Creator Tim Kring disclosed information that the season will concentrate mainly on the bad guys and their attempts to destroy the world. It’s just like a reverse version of season 1, where all the good guys and their efforts to save the humankind were featured. More antagonists will also show up on the upcoming episodes.



At the Jules Verne Festival, Kring and executive producer Jeph Loeb presented a short preview on what’s to happen next. It started with a recap of the last parts of Season 2 where viewers were left with the following images: Nathan Petrelli was shot, Noah Bennet chose work over family and Sylar regained his powers.



The sneak peak showed Elle and Sylar in a future confrontation scene. Elle bravely faced Sylar and told him that she’s not afraid of him. He answered that she should be, because he’s a psychopathic killer. Elle only looked him in the eye and answered coldly, “It takes one to know one.”



The preview also gave viewers an idea on Angela Petrelli’s storyline. It seems she will gain more control as she gets a more powerful role at The Company. We also see footages of a prison break from Level Five, where the most dangerous and powerful killers are held captive.



A startling and shocking series of quick cuts also showed the deaths of the main Heroes. Peter’s body lies in his own pool of blood, Matt’s throat is ripped up, and Hiro is pinned to the wall with his very own sword. A new alter ego will manipulate Niki and Adam, who has spontaneous regenerative ability, will come back to face his rival Hiro.



The preview is also posted on youtube.com. It just made the fans more excited for the return of their favorite show.
